Terms of Use

Last updated: October 23, 2026

These terms govern your use of the TripTogether app and this website. By using them, you agree to these terms. Questions: embesoftware@gmail.com.

The service

TripTogether helps groups plan trips together: shared itineraries, expense tracking and splitting, packing lists, and photos. The app is currently in development and is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. Features may change as development continues.

Your account and content

  • You are responsible for the content you add — activities, expenses, comments, photos, and bookings you log — and for keeping your account credentials secure.
  • Content you add to a trip is shared with that trip's members. Only add content you have the right to share.
  • Don't use the service for anything unlawful, or to post content that is abusive, infringing, or harmful.

Expenses and balances

TripTogether calculates balances from the expenses and bookings your group records. Those figures are planning aids between you and your group; TripTogether is not a bank or payment service, does not move money, and is not responsible for settling amounts between members.

Third-party bookings

The app links to third-party travel services for flights, stays, cars, and tours. Any booking you make is between you and that provider, under their terms. We may earn a commission on bookings made through those links — at no extra cost to you.

Launch list

If you join the launch list on this website, we will email you about the app's launch. You can unsubscribe at any time.

Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid us for it (which, for the free service, is zero). Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes

We may update these terms; the current version will always be on this page with its date. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
